Chicken sanctuary in Poland
Over 40 chickens and cockerels of various breeds have found home in our sanctuary; from miniature bantams and egg-laying hens to proud roosters.
More than 20 of our hens came to us through a partnership with another organization that rescued them from a farm with poor welfare standards. These birds were already between 4 and 5 years old when they arrived, but here they’ve been given the chance to continue living the wonderful life they deserve.
We welcome chickens of all ages and with varying needs: from those requiring special care and specific dietary requirements, to older birds seeking a peaceful retirement.
Pampered chickens with the highest care standards
Every bird in our care receives individual veterinary attention, vitamin supplements, and access to an acre grass pasture where they can roam freely, scratch the earth, and express their natural behaviours.
Our chicken coops have been designed with maximum comfort and safety in mind. Our hens and cockerels have spacious nesting boxes, comfortable perches at varying heights, and dust bathing areas. We provide them with a varied diet rich in grains, vegetables, and protein, tailored to each bird’s individual needs.
Through comprehensive veterinary care, we regularly monitor our chickens’ health, maintain parasite prevention protocols, and respond quickly to any health concerns. Here, every chicken can live with dignity, surrounded by the care and respect they deserve.
