Why donate to our animal sanctuary?
Our sanctuary does not receive any government funding. All our work is possible through kind donations from the public.
Our biggest expenses include:
- Animal feed, vitamins, and minerals (we have chickens, geese, ducks, pigs, birds, cats, etc!)
- Bedding (straw, wood shavings, etc.)
- Veterinary care bills, medicine, and deworming
- Diesel (on-sanctuary machines, mowing, travel to pick up injured animals, etc.)
- Electricity and water (heating the bird aviaries, pig house, water bowls, lighting, etc.)
- Maintenance and infrastructure (coops, shelters, fencing, water infrastructure, replacing broken equipment, etc.)
- Hygiene and cleaning supplies.
We are hugely grateful for donations of any size. 100% of all donations are spent on the animals in our care.
